Fighting MSA: AUSTIN CRAWFORD'S STORY
What's This Book About?
Every life tells a story. Some chapters are filled with joy, others with heartbreak, and some challenge everything we thought we knew.
Fighting MSA: Austin Crawford's Story is the true story of my journey after being diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), a rare and terminal neurological disease. While MSA changed my life forever, it never took away my purpose.
These pages share the highs and lows of that journey—the fear, the faith, the people who stood beside me, and the moments that reminded me there is always a reason to keep moving forward. You'll read about my family, my service dog Ammo, the support of an incredible community, and how advocacy, music, filmmaking, and creativity became a new mission when life took an unexpected turn.
This isn't a book about giving up. It's about finding hope when life feels uncertain, discovering strength you never knew you had, and choosing to live each day with purpose.
Whether you've been affected by MSA, love someone facing a difficult diagnosis, or simply enjoy stories of resilience and determination, I hope these pages encourage you, inspire you, and remind you that every day is a gift.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I hope, by the final page, you'll understand why I continue to fight—not just for myself, but for everyone whose voice deserves to be heard.
